A. Giraud Limoges Porcelains     g30

A. Giraud was a Limoges porcelain maker from the 1920s. From 1935 to 1967 he was partner with Brousseau in a factory in Sauviat-sur-Vige; this factory was bought from Emil Dupuy (1935). After the death of Brousseau in 1967 the company became A. Giraud & Cie, then in 1979 changed name to A. Giraud & Fils.

Giraud Limoges
Mark G30a: Decorating mark probably used 1967-1979. After 1979 Cie was replaced by FILS. From 1935 to 1967, the text was Giraud & Brousseau Limoges
Giraud Limoges
Mark G30b: Porcelain mark. Used in the 1920s and also around 1979, full range of use uncertain.
Sauviat Limoges
Mark G30c: Part of decorating mark found with G30a. Giraud was located in Suaviat-sur-Vige beginning in 1935.


We do not known if A. Giraud, Giraud & Brousseau, or A. Giraud & Fils made any Limoges boxes.
