Borgfeldt Limoges Porcelains

George Borgfeldt was a New York importer of porcelains with decorating studios in Germany and Paris, the Paris studio decorating mostly Limoges porcelains. The company was in business possibly as long as 1881-1976, but Gaston dates most examples 1906-1920s. Production included many plaques and collector plates richly decorated, often artist signed.
